Noida gets a Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management

A brand new campus of IITTM (Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management) has come up at the NCR zone. The new campus is spread across ten acres in Sector - 62 of Noida and it is constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 27.70 crore. The IITTM Noida campus will be inaugurated by K Chiranjeevi, the Union Tourism Minister, on Tuesday.

Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management is an autonomous body of the Tourism Ministry and it offers training, education, consultancy and research in sustainable management of travel, tourism, as well as other allied sectors. Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management's Delhi institution offers a 2 - year PGDM program in tourism and leisure. IITTM has an all India presence with its other centres in places like Gwalior, Delhi, Goa, Nellore and Bhubaneswar.

To offer tourism education at different levels, Delhi Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management has partnered with CBSE for to promote of tourism education at secondary school level. IITTM Delhi has also been involved in designing the tourism curriculum for National Vocational Educational Qualification Framework.

Very recently, Delhi Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management has received the esteemed 'National India Education Excellence Award 2013', by the Time Research as the 'Best Institute in Tours and Travel Education' in India.
